Norfolk Tour Company is a walking tour and bus tour business headquartered in Downtown Norfolk and founded in 2018. All of our experiences focus on the food, history, art, and architecture of our region.
We create more than just tours; we offer receptive services for groups, lecture programs, and consulting services as well. Our mission is to enrich the cultural fabric of Hampton Roads through interesting tour programs, excellent customer service, and unique events.
Shore excursions, motorcoach travel, non-profits, church groups, conference and meeting activities — we provide service to every type of group.
Norfolk Tour Company has researched and developed tours for organizations such as the Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk’s historic cemeteries, the NEON District, and the City of Suffolk. Walking Tours
Our guides have led more than hundreds of walking tours of Hampton Roads sites, including the NEON District, Elizabeth River Trail, the Historic Freemason Neighborhood, Downtown Norfolk, historic churches, the Ghent Neighborhood, and more. We also offer ghost tours and food tours!
Step-on Tours
Are you a group traveling to Hampton Roads? Do you have a motorcoach, but want a great local guide to show you around —all from the comfort of your seat? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Norfolk Tour Company offers step-ons for any group that has a motorcoach, but needs a guide. Step-on services are a flat rate of $375 for up to four hours, and $75 an hour after that.

Lectures & Education
All of our walking tours and step-on tours have corresponding "virtual programming," presentations and lectures that can bring the tours to you! Whether it is a classroom or a retirement home, we offer dozens of lectures on the areas, history, art and architecture. We also offer discounts for educational and non-profit organizations.
